Blockchain and Internet Governance (BIG) Research Group
I currently lead a multidisciplinary group that focuses on how blockchain relates to governance. We are interested in investigating how blockchain can be used in governance mechanisms, as well as how we can govern blockchain-based systems.
This group has brought together researchers from the School of Computing and Information, the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, the School of Law, the English Department, and the Economics Department of the University of Pittsburgh. We aim to combine concepts and methods from each of these disciplines to provide a truly multidimensional view of this problem.
