• Lead a team of analysts delivering data strategy, visualization, and decision support directly to the Senior Vice Chancellor for Research and senior leadership.
• Drive the university-wide effort to merge previously separate analytics teams across research units into one coordinated liaison model.
• Designed and built the enterprise research-data environment on Snowflake, opening up cross-unit analysis the institution couldn't do before.
• Produce the funding and trend analyses that sit behind executive and Board-of-Trustees decisions.
• Conceived and built the enterprise AI analytics tools — chiefly the Pitt Research Analytics hub, which layers AI and a natural-language interface over institutional data to answer questions about research activity instantly.
• Lead the review of data and process-management systems across the SVCR office, spotting opportunities to migrate and better manage data.

Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor for Research, University of Pittsburgh

• Ran research-analytics initiatives across Pitt's research enterprise, directing institutional data analysis, visualization, and reporting for senior leadership; the work was profiled in a 2024 Tambellini Group case study.
• Led the build of the Research Discovery Tool, an AI-enabled service that connects Pitt researchers for cross-disciplinary team science; developed with partner Quantiphi and featured in their 2025 work.
• Created advanced analytics frameworks — research-collaboration network analysis, innovation metrics — to feed institutional research strategy.
• Laid the frameworks, workflows, infrastructure, and stakeholder relationships the university-wide Pitt Research Analytics unit was later built on.
• Partnered with campus stakeholders on enterprise data solutions and a fuller picture of what shapes research at an R1.

School of Computing and Information, University of Pittsburgh

• Teach Responsible Data Science (CMPINF 2140) in the online MS in Data Science; each section runs 100+ students from across the US and abroad.
• Refresh the course materials every term as the field and the cohort shift.

Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor for Research, University of Pittsburgh

• Ran advanced analytics to map the institutional research landscape and its collaboration patterns; built machine-learning models to project research and innovation trends.
• Produced the visualizations and reports behind institutional decisions; worked with the Innovation Institute on patent and invention-disclosure analysis.
• Set up the workflows and pipelines that became the office's lasting analytics backbone.

School of Computing and Information, University of Pittsburgh

• Focused on evidence-based telecom and technology-governance policy; built agent-based models to stress-test spectrum-management proposals.
• Designed and taught the graduate Data Analytics course (INFSCI 2725) and mentored doctoral students in computational modeling and data-science research.
• Led a working group on governing socio-technical systems, co-led one on blockchain and smart contracts, and sat on the faculty hiring committee.
